Dinard
Dinard lies on the Gulf Stream which means it enjoys a warm climate, several degrees warmer than the surrounding areas. The Yacht club has fine examples of tropical palms and plants, which stretch round the coast on the Promenade de Clare de la Lune, which pipes out music throughout the evening for couples to enjoy romantic walks. There are many bars and fine restaurants that fill the towns streets. The abundance of beaches coupled with consistently sunny weather, attracts many visitors during the summer holidays. The attractions include a casino with a restaurant facing the sea and a hall which hosts many expositions. The nearby town of Saint - Lunaire also features a fairly large golf course and the beach of Longchamp, renowned as a "surfers' spot".

Mont Saint Michel
This soaring Gothic masterpiece that rises majestically from its own little rocky island in the Bay of St Malo has been a place of pilgrimage for well over a thousand years, and is without question one of France’s major tourist attractions. Visitors from all over the world come here every year to be captivated by a multitude of truly impressive sights.
The medieval town that sits around the base of Mont St Michel, and most certainly the abbey itself, is best visited in the evening. This is when you can stroll the ramparts in tranquil peace and appreciate the full splendour of the views. Later you can enjoy a splendid meal as the tide comes in against the backdrop of a spectacular sunset. You may also view one of the amazing sound and light shows that are frequently held during the summer evenings. |

St-Malo is the most visited place in Brittany, thanks to its superb old citadelle. From outside the walls, the dignified ensemble of the old city might seem stern and forbidding, but passing through into the streets within the walls brings you into a busy, lively and very characterful town, packed with hotels, restaurants, bars and shops. A stroll on the ramparts is an absolute must, and the presence of vast, clean beaches right on the city's doorstep is a big bonus if you're travelling with kids in tow. |
